In 2008 I was sent by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Australia
to document the work of the MSF team in the Tal refugee camp near Teknaf,
south east of Bangladesh.
The camp houses ethnic Rohingya's who have fled persecution from Myanmar.
Although Myanmar is their homeland they are no longer recognised as citizens
and have report systematic human rights abuses from the Myanmar authorities.
The multimedia material that I collected was used to raise awareness of
the plight of these refugees within Bangladesh and across the MSF network.
Here are some photos I took of the Rohingya people from the camp and the
squalid conditions in which they were forced to live.
